The festival is fast approaching and so it is the time when we are calling for people to help on the day and contribute to the success of this great community and fund raising event.
Volunteers are required on the day before (Friday 23rd June) to help with site preparation and on the day (Saturday 24th June) to meet and greet festival goers, pick up and take down signs and banners, help the site manager direct vendors to their pitches, and a number of other roles.
This is an opportunity to get involved in the community, meet others and be part of a growing project.
Anyone interested is invited to come along to meet the committee at the Saracens Head Hotel at 7pm on Tuesday, March 7, where a drink and nibbles will be provided – we look forward to meeting you.
After a great deal of soul searching, we have decided that due to too many issues beyond our control we are letting the sun set on the GDSS Music Festival.
We have had three great years of bringing local music talent to the people of Great Dunmow.
All the GDSS committee wish to thank our performers, sponsors, volunteers and supporters and most of all you, the public, for making the event such a success.
